J. Lew’s fuel for writing his first novel, "The Witches and Wizards of Ozz," came from his inquisitive nature as a youth, wondering where did the witches come from and is there more of them? His love of history sets his novel back to the colonial period of 1692, not a time to practice your craft.

J. Lew enjoys writing because it casts us through realms of unknown times and places, and gives us a glimpse into the lives of others. Writing brings out the inner child in us, where make-believe leads to hours of romance, joy, and epic adventures in worlds and lands uncharted. Books entertain us in those quiet and peaceful moments where we can immerse ourselves in the stories we enjoy.
