Tip 5
Plain and simple… this tip is about Learning. Get wisdom, and don’t be upset if it comes with some constructive but correct criticism. You have to understand, you must lose your pride when you offer your work to be criticized (sacrificed); I’ve seen so many that have thrown tantrums because they did not appreciate what was said. If that’s you, go outside and scream as loud as you can, or cry, take a walk around the back yard stomping, take a nap, or take a walk, but do whatever it take to calm your nerves and move on. When you are feeling a little better, read over what’s been said a second time, and you’ll find it makes a lot more sense. You must learn as much as you can to become a great writer. Along with learning, get you some patients; we don’t always have the patients we need when it comes to writing. We want it done now, “I want my manuscript, and I want it now.” Sorry, I couldn’t help it (Commercial joke). Getting a book nuked through publishing only means you’ll get nuked when it’s published. Even if you get an agent for your book it will take a while to get it from manuscript to a published book. The road to a well written published book starts with you.
Wish you all the best
